Who could have anticipated such glowing reviews for Scarlett Johansson’s Broadway debut in A View From the Bridge? Certainly not the producers of A View From the Bridge, who Michael Riedel reports are scrambling to find a way to extend the limited engagement beyond its announced April 4 closing date. Complicating things: Johansson’s promotional duties for Iron Man 2 this spring and the Denzel Washington–starring revival of Fences scheduled to open in View’s theater on April 14.
