Paula Abdul — whose talks with ABC to host a new version of Star Search fell apart over her salary demands last week — is now in discussions with NBC to headline a reality series in which she and Kenny Ortega would choreograph dance routines for flash mobs (!). Performances would occur in public spaces, presumably eliminating the need for a costly studio and freeing up the budget for both Paula’s salary and a promotional campaign to convince viewers that flash mobs aren’t stupid.
