Steven Soderbergh is coming onboard the big-screen version of the sixties spy show The Man From U.N.C.L.E., but who will he pick for his lead? According to the Playlist, Soderbergh’s frequent leading man George Clooney is in talks to topline the movie, and it’s intended to be their last collaboration, as Soderbergh still plans to follow through on the retirement he’s been threatening us with for a while. Maybe he should simply take a break, though: The overproductive filmmaker has action flick Haywire in the can, is currently shooting the star-studded Contagion, and has now slotted U.N.C.L.E. to follow his long-planned Liberace, which he plans to direct in the middle of next year.
