Supernatural Spinoff: Vampire Diaries co-creator and executive producer Kevin Williamson is working on a new supernatural drama centered around a group of friends who investigate paranormal happenings, envisioned as a companion to the CW’s beloved Diaries. The untitled project is in the early stages of development and described as The X-Files meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but that’s impossible, as that would simply be the most perfect television show in the world. Exits: Terry Wood, president of creative affairs and development at CBS Television, will be departing the company after twelve years. She most recently oversaw development of Swift Justice with Nancy Grace, this season’s highest-rated first-year show. She will be missed by all. [HR]
