Snow White just can’t stay put. Last week, Universal announced that its fairy tale adaptation, Snow White and the Huntsman (starring Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart, and Chris Hemsworth) would move from December 2012 to June 1 of that year, getting the jump on Tarsem Singh’s untitled Snow White project (starring Julia Roberts, Lily Collins, and Armie Hammer), which was set for June 29. Today, though, Singh’s project took the lead, claiming a new release date on March 16. Neither project has started shooting yet, so there still may be time for Charlize and Kristen to rent out a playhouse and put on a live stage show tomorrow, thereby beating their rival to the punch yet again. UPDATE: Singh’s project has now jumped out ahead on the Anticipation Index, as well. Not feeling so tough now, are you, Huntsman?
