Is Broadway big enough for two Spider-Men? Deadline reports that future screen web-slinger Andrew Garfield has boarded a stage revival of Death of Salesman, where he’ll play loafing son Biff. Mike Nichols will direct the play, which has two other powerhouse actors attached: Philip Seymour Hoffman in the role of Willy Loman, and Linda Emond as Loman’s wife, Linda. Salesman will open in March, four months before Garfield’s tentpole The Amazing Spider-Man is out in theaters, and presumably without the rescheduled opening nights that so bedeviled Garfield’s Broadway counterpart, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.
