Patti Smith is teaming up with screenwriter John Logan (The Aviator) to adapt her memoir, Just Kids, for film. Just Kids, which won a National Book Award last year, is about Smith’s relationship with Robert Mapplethorpe, New York in the sixties and seventies, and the processes of artistic expression.
