Chris Klein was just as surprised as you were when his audition tape for Mamma Mia! hit the Internet back in 2010. “I thought to myself, Wow, did I piss somebody off? Or maybe it was too good of an opportunity to pass up,†the American Reunion star now tells the Huffington Post. So why did he end up auditioning for a movie musical that seemed out of his wheelhouse? “I took a chance — I can’t sing!†Klein admits. “I don’t know why I was in there. But I took a chance! It’s a musical — let’s see if I can give it a shot. And, you know, the way that they put it out there, it gets taken out of context and all that kind of thing.
