Just last week, Vulture geeked out with Clueless director Amy Heckerling over the vampire mythology in her new movie Vamps, so when we spoke to her at last night’s premiere of The Raven, a brief release update was necessary. Happily, Heckerling had some news: “I heard from our producers it’s coming out in time for Halloween, so that’s been decided.†Today comes word that Anchor Films will in fact be distributing Vamps and is aiming for a fall release — meaning that November’s undead moviegoing options just doubled. More important: Your 2012 Halloween costume is already decided (Goodie, Silverstone’s Vamps character, if you’re down with fangs; Cher if you’re not). Helpful!
