Man cannot live on Chris Noth alone. After two seasons of toiling away alone at the State’s Attorney’s office as Mr. Big’s deputy, secluded from the rest of The Good Wife cast — and nearly all of the action — Matt Czuchry’s just as relieved as you are to see Cary rejoin beleaguered firm Lockhart Gardner. “I’m happy to be back, absolutely,” he told Vulture Tuesday at the Gersh upfronts party. “It’s the right time.” Because bringing Cary back into the fold means we’ll finally get a follow-up to the cliff-hanger from earlier last season in which he ran away from Kalinda after she began unzipping his pants as repayment for saving her life … right? Czuchry says he’s gotten only “a very rough outline” from the writers about what’s coming up when the show returns this fall, but he did hint that Cary and Kalinda might try to ignite the weird, horny spark between them. “Romance is certainly possible. It being really, really complicated is even more possible.”
