Conan O’Brien is producing a new talk show to be hosted by beloved comedian/frequent smiler Pete Holmes. The show is being described as a “slight departure from the typical talk-show format,†which could mean anything: maybe Pete is standing the whole time – maybe there’s no actual talking, so all interviewing is done solely by body language – maybe Pete will wear an eyepatch. This is like the 70th show Conan is producing for TBS, including a couple sitcoms and Deon Cole’s video clip show. Conan sure keeps it crispy.
