Melanie Griffith is in final negotiations for a multi-episode arc on Raising Hope. She’d play Sabrina’s mother, according to E!. Griffith hasn’t had particularly good luck in the TV department: Her Lifetime pilot didn’t get picked up last year, 2007’s Viva Laughlin was canceled almost immediately, and 2005’s Twins barely made it through a season. But have no fear, the low-rated but so darn charming Raising Hope is on the case.
