Rob Thomas has been tapped to mentor alongside Cee Lo on The Voice, which is a pretty good fit because he certainly has a voice. The show premieres on September 10, six days after a new Matchbox Twenty album drops. It’s a shame to think Thomas may hype the album rather than doing something to remind us of that Santana song that plays in assorted public places hundreds of times per week in every average American’s life.
