The projections were right: The rap novelty who is 2 Chainz sold 147,000 copies of his first album Based on a T.R.U. Story, which puts him at No.1 on the Billboard 200. Dropping to No. 2 (from last week’s top spot) is the 43rd compilation of Now That’s What I Call Music, which Vulture points out only to make you feel old. Did it work?
