Unless you’re willing to believe Green Day was happy to take a bath on a ton of canceled and postponed tour dates in the middle of a triple-album release, Billie Joe Armstrong’s rehabilitation appears to be a serious thing. The trio have scrapped their remaining 2012 gigs and bumped almost two dozen shows set originally set for early next year. As compensation, the third album in the cycle, ¡Tre!, will release a month ahead of schedule, on Dec. 11. ¡Dos! drops Nov. 9.
