Sure, everyone goes nuts for the Oscars, but tonight’s Golden Globes is our personal favorite. And not just because of the legendary open bar, although that certainly helps. No, it’s because the Globes go ahead and stick the world’s biggest movie stars into the exact same room as TV’s A-listers, like the Emmys and the Oscars all rolled up into one and then dunked in bourbon. Where else would you see Jessica Chastain rubbing shoulders with Matt LeBlanc (other than, perhaps, SoulCycle)? Please, join us as we live-blog tonight’s Golden Globes red carpet arrivals, and pray for all manner of crazy celebrity collisions (Archie Panjabi, meet Tommy Lee Jones — go!) and some even crazier outfits. We’re so excited that we’re not even mad about missing Downton Abbey, and that’s saying something.
