TBS has finally found a talk show to follow Conan. The cable network announced today it has ordered a four-week run of a new untitled talk show from comedian and podcaster Pete Holmes. The show will debut this fall, airing four nights a week at midnight after Conan. Unlike most late night shows, this one is only a half-hour long. Conan O’Brien and Jeff Ross will produce. Holmes, the host of the Nerdist Network’s hit podcast You Made It Weird, is the voice of the E*Trade Baby, and has appeared on Conan, Jimmy Fallon, and his own Comedy Central Presents special. Pete Holmes filmed three test episodes of the pilot this summer under the name The Midnight Show with Pete Holmes, but that no longer looks to be the program’s title - possibly because of the popular L.A./internet sketch group The Midnight Show bearing the same name. Pete Holmes’s talk show will be a mix of in-studio interviews, sketches, short films, and field pieces. And if You Made It Weird is any indication, he’ll be pressuring each of his guests into saying the phrase “Keep it crispy.â€
