The unrelentingly uncategorizable Janelle Monáe has her sophomore album, The Electric Lady, coming sometime this year. You may have gotten psyched for it when “Q.U.E.E.N.” dropped last week, but now the video’s here, and you’ve got a reason to get reallllly psyched. Directed by Alan Ferguson (Solange’s boyfriend, director of Beyoncé’s “Party”), this is at least five videos worth of brilliance. This is the next thing Kanye needs to crash a stage and defend as one of the best videos of all time. Just … just watch.
