The Office is almost over. Just this week’s and next week’s, and that’s all she wrote. Though there will be a hole in the Thursday schedule — and in our hearts — for a good while, this is part of the circle of TV life. Shows end! But The Office will never truly be gone, especially since so many of its cast members already have things lined up. Gaze with us into the future.
John Krasinski (Jim): He’s still plugging away with Aaron Sorkin on a project about the Chateau Marmont; plus, he’s in the new episodes of Arrested Development.
Jenna Fischer (Pam): She has two movies in the can, but in the immediate future you can see her in an Off Broadway production of Reasons to Be Happy.
Ed Helms (Andy): He’s got Hangover III coming out shortly, plus a few smaller movies in the next few months, and maybe that Vacation reboot, if it ever gets off the ground.
Rainn Wilson (Dwight): If CBS picks up his drama pilot Backstrom, then he’ll be playing the titular abrasive genius cop.
Ellie Kemper (Erin): If NBC picks up her comedy pilot Brenda Forever, then she’ll be playing the titular day-dreaming musician, whom we see in the present day and in flashbacks to her teen years.
Craig Robinson (Darryl): If NBC picks up his comedy pilot Mr. Robinson, then he’ll be playing the titular middle-school music teacher.
Angela Kinsey (Angela): If Fox picks up her comedy pilot The Gabriels, then she’ll be playing Mrs. Gabriel, opposite Rob Riggle.
Jake Lacy (Pete): IF CBS picks up his comedy pilot The McCarthys, he’ll be playing one of the McCarthy brothers, alongside Joey McIntyre.
Oscar Nuñez (Oscar): He has a supporting role in the ABC comedy pilot Holding Patterns (about a group of people in a plane crash).
Catherine Tate (Nellie): Not in the Doctor Who anniversary special, which is a tragedy. She is, however, heading back to British TV with a BBC One sitcom called Big School.
Clark Duke (Clark): If that Hot Tub Time Machine sequel comes to fruition, Duke will be in that. He’s also in Kick-Ass 2.
Leslie David Baker (Stanley), Brian Baumgartner (Kevin), Phyllis Smith (Phyllis), Kate Flannery (Meredith), Creed Bratton (Creed), Paul Lieberstein (Toby): Unclear! But it seems unlikely that they’d be hurting for work.
