Eastbound & Down is set to debut its fourth and final season on HBO this September, but co-creators Danny McBride and Jody Hill already have another project set up at the network. HBO President Michael Lombardo told the press yesterday that McBride and Hill are developing a half-hour comedy set at a high school for the network. “They’re taking a look at high school life,†Lombardo says. “It’s a really great, funny, quintessentially Danny and Jody idea.†In addition the untitled high school project, McBride and Hill are producing a new animated series for FXX that’s expected to launch early next year. Called Chozen, it follows a gay white rapper and features McBride voicing a supporting character.
