After getting into the original programming game last year with shows like Ken Marino’s Burning Love and Seth Morris’s First Dates with Toby Harris, Yahoo! is amping up their comedy lineup with five new shows that are set to debut September 9th. The new shows come from people like Jack Black, Ed Helms, Cheryl Hines, and more, and you can check out trailers for all five of them below:
We Need Help
We Need Help follows the put-upon personal assistant to actresses and best friends Cheryl Hines and Rachael Harris, who are playing Curb Your Enthusiasm-esque fictionalized versions of themselves.
The Fuzz
Set in a world where puppets and humans live alongside each other, The Fuzz is about a puppet cop and his lazy human partner up against a violent drug war.
Tiny Commando
Created by Ed Helms and Jacob Fleisher, Tiny Commando stars Zachary Levi as a four-inch-tall Navy SEAL who was shrunk in a military experiment, with Gillian Jacobs as his sidekick, Rob Corddry as his boss, and Helms as his enemy.
Losing It with John Stamos
John Stamos interviews celebrities about how they lost their virginities, with guests Michael Ian Black, Adam Pally, Casey Wilson, Matt Stone, Alan Cumming, Perez Hilton, Olivia Munn, Michael Rapaport, Bob Saget, and more.
Ghost Ghirls
Originally developed for Syfy, Ghost Ghirls follows two best friends (Amanda Lund, Maria Blasucci) working as paranormal investigators. It’s produced by Jack Black and co-created by Drunk History’s Jeremy Konner, Lund, and Blasucci. The show features guest appearances from Bob Odenkirk, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani, Brett Gelman, Jack Black, and others.
