Happy Endings executive producer Jonathan Groff has sold a sitcom pilot to CBS, according to Deadline. The show, The 40s, focuses on a group of friends…in their 40s who all live on the same street. Groff will write and executive produce the show. He’s also on board to executive produce Casey Wilson and June Diane Raphael’s sitcom, DINKS, over at ABC.
Before Happy Endings, Groff wrote for Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother, and created the short-lived Andy Barker P.I. He also wrote for Late Night with Conan O’Brien from 1995 to 2001.
