Jason Segel is attached to star in a new movie about a real-life Canadian maple syrup heist, THR reports. The untitled comedy-drama is based on a story about the heist of $20 million worth of maple syrup from a Quebec warehouse that resulted in over 20 people being arrested. Seth Gordon (Identity Thief, Horrible Bosses) is directing the movie, and Chris Sheridan (Family Guy) is writing it. If you want to read about the real maple syrup heist that inspired the film, which I’m assuming is the only maple syrup heist ever, you can do that here.
