The U.S. adaptation of Gavin and Stacy looks like it’s stalling out before it even really starts. Fox’s Us & Them, starring Alexis Bledel and Jason Ritter, is still technically supposed to premiere midseason, but the network has decided not to make more than the seven episodes (including the pilot) it has already filmed. According to Deadline, the actors have been released, which is a very bad sign for the future of the show. And a bad sign for the future of TV enjoyment — that pilot was darling and full of promise.
