Seth Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg are set to tackle their first holiday movie. In an interview with Collider, director Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies) let a few details slip about the mysterious new project:
I’m just finishing a script that I’m hoping to shoot in the next few months. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are producing it, and that’s a Christmas party movie, or a Christmas movie for stoners. I probably shouldn’t even be talking about it. It doesn’t have a name. It may never happen, so we’ll see.
This is just one of many projects Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have in development. Following the pair’s directorial debut with this summer’s This Is the End, they’re about to co-direct their second movie, The Interview, which stars James Franco and Rogen as a talk show host and his producer caught up in a plot to assassinate the prime minister of North Korea. They’re also developing the FX animated comedy Bigfoot, and the R-rated Pixar-esque movie Sausage Party.Â
