Variety reports that Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck will open in theaters on July 24, 2015, the perfect date to provide a comedy palate cleanser between Batman vs. Superman and Ant-Man. We like to plan ahead. While Judd Apatow worked with Schumer during the film’s development phase, it appears Trainwreck will in fact be the first movie Apatow has directed but not written, though you know he’s still getting Leslie Mann a plum role no matter what.
