Deadline reports Amanda Seyfried will be the female lead in Ted 2 (Ted 2: This Time It’s Bearsonal). As a result, Mila Kunis’s role will be significantly diminished, if it exists at all. According to Deadline, this has nothing to do with Kunis, it’s just the direction Seth MacFarlane & Co. decided to take the sequel. MacFarlane worked with Seyfried on his upcoming A Million Ways to Die in the West. How they’re going to write off a love story they spent the entire first movie validating is unclear, but if they can justify a drugged-out teddy bear, that bit of exposition should be cake.
