During her interview on Late Night’s debut episode, Amy Poehler announced that Broad City – Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer’s new Comedy Central series that Poehler executive produces – has been picked up for a second season. THR confirms the news today, reporting that the new season will, once again, consist of 10 episodes. This renewal is a hopeful indication for Poehler’s upcoming projects and development deal with NBC, through which she’s currently developing the Natasha Lyonne-starring series Old Soul. As for the Broad City creators and stars, it’s some well-deserved good news before they kick off their live tour next week.
