Itâs a week full of endings and beginnings in the TV world. After nine seasons, CBSâs How I Met Your Mother will be ending with a final, hour-long episode on Monday. Raising Hope will also be having its one-hour season finale, having been canceled by Fox a few weeks back. Check It Out with Dr. Steve Brule and HBOâs Doll & Em are also airing their season finales. Fortunately, several new shows are debuting this week: James Van Der Beek-led sitcom Friends With Better Lives on CBS, the animated anthology series TripTank on Comedy Central, and Mike Judgeâs Silicon Valley on HBO. On top of all that, Inside Amy Schumer return for its second season, Veep returns for its third, and The Mindy Project comes back from hiatus.
In late night this week, Conan hosts his show in Dallas, Drew Carey guest hosts The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (while Ferguson is filling in for him on Price Is Right), Bill Clinton will become the first US President to do Kimmel, and Anna Kendrick hosts a new Saturday Night Live.
