Wes Anderson’s latest effort has passed the $100 million dollar mark at the worldwide box office according to Variety, making it the auteur’s highest grossing flick to date. It is trailed by The Royal Tenenbaums, which made $71 million worldwide. In terms of domestic gross, Grand Budapest still falls a distant third behind Moonrise Kingdom and Tenenbaums – though both of those films did terribly in Zubrowka.
