NBC is continuing to load up on new comedies for the fall. The network has given a series order to A to Z, a sitcom starring Cristin Milioti (the titular mother from How I Met Your Mother) and Ben Feldman (Michael Ginsberg from Mad Men). The romantic-comedy series follows a couple who meet as a result of a tech glitch at the company where Feldman’s character works. Ben Queen (Cars 2) created the show, and Henry Zebrowski, Christina Kirk, and Leonora Crichlow also star.
A to Z is the fourth new comedy NBC has picked up for the 2014-15 season, following Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (a.k.a. Tooken, created by Tina Fey and starring Ellie Kemper), Mr. Robinson (starring Craig Robinson), and Marry Me (created by Happy Endings’ David Caspe and starring Casey Wilson and Ken Marino), the latter of which was announced yesterday.
