12 Songs Weird Al Yankovic Should Have Parodied, and How He Could Have Done It

After four days and four perfect parodies from Weird Al, it’s hard not to want more. And then you listen to “NOW That’s What I Call Polka� off his new record, Mandatory Fun, and you are like, “This is how you’re going to do ‘Get Lucky’? Come on!� We know that every Weird Al record has a mix of direct parodies, style parodies, and a polka medley, but when you are as good at it as he is, it’s hard not to be frustrated occasionally by how he chooses to tackle certain things.
