Along with news of The Big Bang Theory’s triple-season renewal comes staggering raises for the main stars, who reached a deal in renewing their contracts over the weekend that will earn each of them over $90 million dollars. According to Deadline, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco have signed new three-year contracts and rake in $1 million per each of the upcoming 72 episodes plus signing bonuses, production deals, increased ownership of the show, and a bunch of other back-end goodies that could realistically result in each of the three making up to $100 million overall. Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar’s contracts are still being negotiated, but they’re expected to close deals with CBS any day now. Big Bang’s season 8 premiere table read – which already fell behind a week due to Parsons, Galecki, and Cuoco’s negotiations – is scheduled to take place this Wednesday, with the hourlong season premiere slated for September 22nd.
