Saturday night, D’Angelo sang live at the Apollo, where he gave fans a 14-minute rendition of his classic “Untitled (How Does It Feel)†as part of a three-hour, two-encore performance. (It ended in a sing-along.) You might remember “Untitled†as the song off of Voodoo that anointed D’Angelo as the second coming, and also, in some ways, sent him into a tailspin. (He’s a sensitive guy!) D’Angelo first graced the stage of the Apollo on Amateur Night in 1991 at the age of 16. More than 20 years later, it’s good to have him back.
