After all that cryptic teasing, Neill Blomkamp will in fact helm a new Alien movie. Variety reports that 20th Century Fox will work with the Chappie director to develop the flick, and the story will take place years after Prometheus 2, which is purportedly still happening. Naturally, the news was confirmed via Blomkamp’s gem of an Instagram with more Alien art. “So I think it’s officially my next film,†he said of the project, which will be produced by Ridley Scott and may or may not include Sigourney Weaver (fingers crossed!).
