“U Talkin’ U2 To Me?†has finally talkin’ed to U2 to me/U! That’s right, podcast hosts Scott (Scott Aukerman) and Scott (Adam Scott) sat down with the titular U2 for an interview that went up into the podcast ether this morning. For those unfamiliar, “U Talkin’ U2 to Me?†was started by Aukerman and Scott in early 2014 to be a podcast where they talked about U2 as a lead-up to the band’s next album, but it quickly became a podcast where they seemed to talk about anything but U2 while failing to talk about U2. The episodes came out sparingly, but were a truly silly delight.
Now, over 20 episodes in, the improbable happened: Bonobos, Thedge, Larry Mullins Sr.’s son, and Adam Claytwothousandpounds agreed to come on the show. And you can hear it right here, right now. Scott and Scott (with some adorable and noticeable nerves) talk to the guys about being U2, Bono’s injury, a possible new album, and more. (More!)
