The 67th Emmy Awards aired last night with host Andy Samberg, and with some help from Scott Aukerman, the Comedy Bang! Bang! writers, and plenty of special cameos (Will Forte, Bob Odenkirk, Billy Eichner, and Tracy Morgan, to name a few), the ceremony had plenty of funny moments. In the comedy categories, Veep ended Modern Family’s streak for Outstanding Comedy Series, Inside Amy Schumer took home the first-ever Outstanding Variety Sketch Series award, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart won for Outstanding Variety Talk Series and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. Sadly, Amy Poehler was snubbed yet again for Parks and Recreation, joining Steve Carell in the ranks of great lead TV comedy actors who never got their Emmy recognition.
