The Last Man on Earth’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller have a new series headed to Fox. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered Lord and Miller’s live-action/animated hybrid comedy Son of Zorn to series. Jason Sudeikis will star in the show as an animated warrior named Zorn who, “upon arriving home on Earth for the first time in 10 years, finds that reconnecting with his live-action son Alan (Johnny Pemberton) and ex-wife Edie (Cheryl Hines), while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life, is harder than waging war in his distant mystical homeland of Zephyria.†The series will debut on Fox sometime during the 2016-2017 season.
