Baby, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas know they hurt you with the How I Met Your Mother finale, but now they’re out to make it right: Deadline reports that the duo are developing a new show for CBS (albeit a single-camera one this time), one that will make things better than they were before, they swear. Remember how much you loved HIMIYM’s hilariously bizarre version of New York City? Their new show will have that, and even more: It’s called New York Mythological, and it tells the story of a midwestern transplant who falls in love with the magic of the Big Apple. And babe, they heard that you found Ted annoying after a while; well, this new show is about a young woman. This time, they swear it’s for real.
