China’s Force Awakens trailer is so much cooler than ours, how rude. For instance, we only got bits and pieces of the plot, but they seem to have gotten the whole story. Finn and Rey’s motivations are a little clearer, we learn that BB-8’s mission is classified, the TIE fighter attack has more context, and Han Solo even says an old line from the original trilogy! To be fair, the movie doesn’t screen in China until January 9, so maybe things work out in America’s favor in the end.
