In what is literally a casting coup(e), Seth Rogen’s Hulu pilot Future Man has cast Happy Endings’ Eliza Coupe as the female lead. The half-hour comedy would star Josh Hutcherson as a gamer who has to save the world; Coupe will play a “sexy, tough and intense†supersoldier who leads Hutcherson’s character on the life-changing mission. Which sounds great, especially if there will be roles available for actors like, oh, I dunno, Casey Wilson, Adam Pally, and Damon Wayans Jr. to do some funny stuff here and there. Maybe Elisha Cuthbert and Zachary Knighton can pop up, too. You know, just spitballing here.
