LL Cool J kicked off the 2016 Grammys with a nod to the fact that Adele and Lionel Richie were finally in the same room. They winked, they waved, their body language read hello in every language. Instead, her stand-in Demi Lovato performed “Hello†for us, along with your new favorite supergroup, John Legend, Luke Bryan, Tyrese, and a newly brunette Meghan Trainor. All night long, you’ll be wondering how the Grammys missed such an easy opportunity.
