Paul Walker’s death left a gaping hole in all our hearts, as well as in the heart of the hot-blond-dude quota in the Fast and Furious franchise. In a universe bulging with sexy bald men, Paul was the lone beefcake with a full head of blond hair at which to drool. Well, say hello to your new blond dreamboat: Scott Eastwood, of Hot Hollywood Son and Taylor Swift video co-star fame, has been cast in Fast 8. According to Scott’s Instagram, he’ll play a guy who works for his “childhood hero” Kurt Russell’s character Mr. Nobody. (Go ahead, let out all your who? jokes,) He’s now the second actor to lend his luscious (dirty) blond(e) services to the Fast and Furious streets, with Charlize Theron having also recently signed on to play the villain in the latest sequel. But never you worry, the F&F’s hot blond legacy is in good hands: Scott is practically Paul Walker’s spiritual successor! “Paul was a close friend of mine. We surfed together, traveled together, and he was a huge role model and influencing figure in my life when I was younger. He still is. He was an older brother to me,” Scott explains. Just call it Fast & the Furious Fate.
