Hannibal Buress Looks for the Secret to Comedy on a Grassy Knoll in Edinburgh

Exercise is hard. Most of us probably peaked physically at the age of 16. But that didn’t stop Hannibal Buress from climbing up a gorgeous Scottish mountain — okay, more like a grassy knoll — and narrating the whole experience for the sake of comedy enlightenment. (We’re assuming the Monty Python gang did the same thing back in the ‘60s.) Buress’s documentary Hannibal Takes Edinburgh — which was filmed back in 2013 when he performed at the revered Edinburgh Festival Fringe for a month — will be released on Netflix tomorrow. But until then, let this exclusive pre–Broad City clip simultaneously inspire your comedic and fitness chops.
