Amber Heard has filed for divorce from her husband of one year, Johnny Depp, reports E! News.
In a stream of sad news, May 22 is the date Heard reportedly filed — just three days after Depp’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer, died.
This is also just over a month after Depp and Heard made a video apologizing for bringing their dogs illegally into Australia. Best wishes for a harmonious split, free of run-ins with anyone’s customs department.
