Following his lat-filled turn in Michael Bay’s 13 Hours, the Office star has been cast in Amazon’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series as the titular international catastrophe-thwarting agent. The studio announced today that they’ve green-lit a ten episode first season about Ryan’s first field assignment, during which “he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.†Boy, all those terrorists are going to be pretty PO’ed when they find their nuclear detonator encased in a Jell-O mold. Murderously PO’ed.
