The busiest sexagenarian in the television industry is about to get a whole lot busier. Variety is reporting that super-producer Dick Wolf is currently working on an original, unscripted series about the FBI for — gasp! — not NBC, but USA Networks. The untitled series is “being produced in conjunction with the FBI†and in the midst of production in New York; Wolf will executive produce, along with Anne Beagan from the FBI New York office of public affairs. (If that doesn’t get an “A†for authenticity, we don’t know what will.) If the show indeed gets picked up for a series order, it would join Wolf’s already-packed 2016 slate — his other FBI drama is in development, he and Zayn Malik are developing a boy-band drama, his Chicago Justice has been picked up, and his Menendez brothers true-crime anthology is also in development. (Not to mention, he has a cushy deal with NBC in place until 2020.) Hot damn, Dick! Take a vacation, okay?
