No, it’s not an illusion; we’re finally getting a new Lady Gaga single! On Tuesday she posted an Instagram announcing the arrival of her upcoming single, “Perfect Illusion,” on Friday. “The song is about modern ecstasy … We found our sweet, simple, rage-y way of saying it,” Gaga said at the New York City’s iHeartRadio Music Summit. “I get this sick adrenaline rush every time I hear it,” she added. The single is produced by Mark Ronson, perhaps with help from Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and BloodPop (Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”). The single will appear on Gaga’s fifth studio album.
