Deadline reports that erstwhile roastee Rob Lowe has joined the cast of Broken Lizard’s upcoming Super Troopers 2, the belated, crowdfunded sequel to the troupe’s 2001’s cult comedy. Lowe will reportedly play Guy Le Franc, “a former hockey player and the current mayor of a Quebec Canadian border town.” The film started shooting last week in Boston, where Lowe is definitely not jumping around all nimbly-bimbly from tree to tree, drinking from a saucer of milk or eating mice right meow.
