Justin Timberlake was bound to get his own concert film sooner or later — four massively successful studio albums can do that to a man — but he truly outdid himself by recruiting Jonathan Demme to direct the film for Netflix, as opposed to, uh … these little critters. Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids chronicles the final two days of Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience World Tour in Las Vegas, which Demme has described as a “space-age music film†that may or may not include Timby in a big suit. (Nice brief shadow sequence, though.) It’ll be released on the streaming service on October 12.
